Benjy's bird : production material, 1965.

Benjy rescues a baby robin, fallen out of the nest. When the bird is strong enough to fly, Benjy's bird follows its instincts, and Benjy must learn that a loved thing must sometimes be a hope or a memory. The collection includes fifteen ink illustrations, ten ink and watercolor illustrations, two ink and watercolor studies for jacket, one 44-page chalk-ink-tempera dummy with typescript, one 44-page ink-pencil-watercolor dummy with text proof, two pasteups.
